Mr. Sharpe is a Senior Program Manager for Force Development, Air Education and Training Command, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. He leads the Secretariat for the Force Development Council. He solicits Force Development topics, directs development of presentations and background papers for Air Force senior leaders that lead to decisions on education, training, experiential and resourcing decisions that enable Airmen to be better prepared to achieve their mission.

Mr. Sharpe graduated in 1986 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. He was commissioned from the Air Force ROTC program and served as an Space and Missile Operations Officer, Command and Control Officer and a Force Support Officer. Mr. Sharpe has served in multiple Major Commands and the Air Staff in various positions over 28+ years. He commanded at the Squadron, Deputy Group and Vice Wing Commander levels and was Director of Manpower, Personnel and Services for United States Air Forces Europe and Africa. Additionally, he has deployed in support of Operations Joint Endeavor, Allied Force, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
