MSgt Jared A. Rice, USAF
MSgt Jared Rice is the Innovation Cell Lead at 362nd Training Squadron, Sheppard AFB, Texas. He spearheads his Squadron’s Innovation Cell, integrating cutting-edge technologies like Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence to empower Instructors and enhance Airman proficiency. He also provides mentorship and counseling to both Instructors and students to help them grow both professionally and personally as Airmen.
Originally born in Houston, Texas, MSgt Rice entered the Air Force in May 2009 from Ft. Collins, Colorado. He completed F-16 Tactical Aircraft Maintenance Apprentice Couse at Sheppard AFB in December 2009. He has proudly served 14 years as Active Duty and held many maintenance duty positions such as Phase Inspection Technician, Dedicated Crew Chief, Quality Assurance Inspector, CANN Manager, Flightline Expediter and Flight Chief. He has been stationed at Hill AFB, Kunsan AB, Holloman AFB and Osan AB. Prior to his current duty station, MSgt Rice was a Flightline Expediter at the 36 AMU, Osan AB, South Korea where he led 260 maintenance personnel to maintain a fleet of 24 F-16 aircraft and ready to “Fight Tonight” and defend the freedom of 51 million Koreans.
