Hero Slider - for Cancellation

DAFMSS will return May 2026 in Colorado Springs

DAFMSS 2025 CANCELLATION

We would like to express our sincere appreciation for your commitment and support of DAFMSS 2025. Additionally, we appreciate your patience and understanding as the United States Air Force (USAF) worked through the process of managing the DAFMSS event.

However, it is with disappointment, that we regret to inform you that USAF has cancelled the DAF M&S Summit on May 5 – 9, 2025.

On February 26, DOGE initiated a Cost Efficiency Initiative. Part of the directive is Non-Essential Travel Justification, wherein the Agency Head shall prohibit agency employees from engaging in federally funded travel for conferences or other non-essential purposes unless the travel-approving official has submitted written justification for the federally funded travel as mission critical. On March 5, 2025, the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness issued a memorandum, “Guidance for the Use of Government Travel Charge Cards by DoD Civilian Employees,” which directed the suspension of Government Travel Charge Cards (GTCCs).

As a result of these government restrictions, the DAF Chief Modeling and Simulation Officer (CMSO) and Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM) have decided to CANCEL the 2025 Department of the Air Force Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Summit.

NTSA will cancel all registration, exhibitor, and sponsor participation and are providing further details on the processing procedures to each party, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or disruption this may cause and understand that this news may be disappointing. Please be sure to cancel your hotel rooms and flights to avoid penalties and fees.

What about DAFMSS 2026?
We firmly believe that DAFMSS is a vital event and an invaluable forum for gaining insights, learning about the latest developments, and fostering collaboration between the USAF, USSF, and industry partners. We are looking forward to the return of DAFMSS on May 5 – 8, 2026, in Colorado Springs, CO, and we look forward to seeing all of you there!
